Regardless if you’re planning a romantic Valentine’s Day with your significant other, or a “galentine’s” celebration with friends, an evening of fun can be found at The Triangle, from dining and movies to bowling and sweet Valentine’s treats.
The Triangle’s Yard House is offering a special Valentine’s Day menu with some of the restaurant’s most popular dishes, cocktails and sparkling wines. For the ultimate convenience, the restaurant will seat guests as they arrive – no reservations are needed.
The Valentine’s Day menu includes starters of Poke Nachos (marinated raw ahi, avocado, cilantro, serranos, green onions, nori, sesame seeds, sweet soy, sriracha aïoli, white truffle sauce, crispy wontons), Fried Calamari (spicy tomato sauce, roasted jalapeño tartar), and Spinach Cheese Dip (feta, jack, parmesan, cream cheese, crispy flatbread.) Entrée selections include Lobster Mac n Cheese (sun dried tomatoes, asparagus, wild mushrooms, cheddar, parmesan, truffle oil); Ginger Crusted Salmon (wasabi mashed potatoes, snap peas, carrots, spicy peanut vinaigrette); a 12 oz Rib Eye (spinach-corn mashed potatoes, broccolini, house-made steak sauce); Parmesan Crusted Pork Loin (bourbon-sage-cherry shallot sauce, broccolini, mashed sweet potatoes); and Orange Peel Chicken (baby corn, bok choy, orange glaze, jasmine rice - gardein option available.)
Desserts will include a S’mores Brownie (chocolate brownie with graham cracker crust and roasted marshmallows) and a Mini Trio Sampler pictured above (crème brûlée, peach apple cobbler, chocolate soufflé cake.) An assortment of signature cocktails will also be offered, as well as sparkling wine and Champagne.
Yard House will open at 11am on February 14 and will offer its regular menu for lunch, dinner and late-night dining. For more information, visit yardhouse.com/valentine or call 949.642.0090.
Tavern + Bowl at The Triangle is perfect for a group of friends to celebrate a fun night out. Tavern + Bowl’s Love to Spare package includes one hour of bowling, two shoe rentals, one flatbread, two premium drinks for $49. This special package is available today, February 10, through February 14. To reserve a lane for a specific time, there is an addition $10 fee. To reserve a lane or for more information, call 949.438.2320.
For Valentine’s Day or the celebrating with family or friends over the weekend, head to Starlight Triangle Cinemas, which is showing a number of movies from family friendly, to romantic and Oscar-nominated favorites. For a complete list of current showings and times, call 949.650.4300 or visit www.starlightcinemas.com.
After the movies or to just grab sweet treats with your family or significant other, head to Creamistry to enjoy a custom creation or their limited edition Red Velvet Cheesecake. This delicious dessert features cheesecake ice cream layered with red velvet cake, fudge drizzle, chocolate curls and topped with whipped cream. This weekend, Creamistry is open from 12 p.m. until 11 p.m., and on weekdays, the ice cream shop is open from 1 p.m. until 11 p.m.
The Triangle is conveniently located at the end of the 55 Freeway, where Newport Blvd., Harbor Blvd. and 19th Street intersect. The center offers seven levels of free parking, as well as a Valet and car wash on the first level near Tavern + Bowl. The center also has a VIP Program offering discounts to various restaurants.
