Southern California’s premier annual wine event, Napa in Newport will be celebrated on Saturday, March 4 at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. Napa in Newport Wine Auction brings together 30 renowned vintners and wine enthusiasts to help find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a fatal genetic disease that robs children and young adults of their muscle strength and claims their lives by their mid-20s. All proceeds from the evening will benefit CureDuchenne, the national organization committed to finding a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Honorary co-chairs of Napa in Newport is the deLeuze family, proprietors of ZD Wines.
Napa in Newport attendees will enjoy a selection of fine, rare and reserve wines from more than 30 select Napa Valley wineries, curated by Master Sommelier, Michael Jordan, MS, CWE, including ZD Wines, Anomaly Vineyards, Arkenstone, Arrow&Branch, Blackbird Vineyards, BOND Estates, Bure Family Wines, Continuum Estate, Crocker & Starr, Darioush, David Arthur Vineyards, Davis Estates, Fairchild Napa Valley, Fait-Main Wines, Freemark Abbey Winery, Gandona Estate, Gemstone Vineyard, Handwritten Wines, Hill Family Estate, Hundred Acre, JCB by Jean-Charles Boisset, Joseph Phelps Vineyards, Melka Wines, Memento Mori Winery , Morlet Family Vineyards, Nellcôte, PATEL Napa Valley, Quintessa, Realm Cellars, Relic Wine Cellars, Reynolds Family Winery, Sodhani Vineyards, Sojourn Cellars, St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery, Truchard Vineyards, Trujillo Wines, Vineyard 29 and Zakin Wines.
The evening will include a three-course dinner created by renowned Chef Amar Santana of the award-winning Broadway by Amar Santana and Vaca restaurants.
Napa in Newport kicks off with a wine tasting reception and silent auction at 4:30 p.m., with dinner, wine pairings and live auction festivities beginning at 7 p.m.
