Spring Break Family Fun at The Triangle

With many kids out of school and home on Spring Break, The Triangle in Costa Mesa offers great options for family fun, from dining and bowling, to the movies and grabbing a custom ice cream confection at Creamistry. In addition, the popular dining and entertainment center is also giving away a $100 gift card to Tavern + Bowl this month, just visit The Triangle’s Facebook page to enter.

At Tavern + Bowl, you can enjoy dinner nightly, or brunch on the weekends, while watching your favorite teams on the multiple TVs throughout the restaurant, followed by a round or two of bowling. The menu offers everything from scratch and something for everyone, with dishes ranging from steak and burgers to vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and Paleo options.

Tavern + Bowl is located on the lower level of The Triangle, and reservations can be made by calling 949.438.2320.

Spring break is also a good time to catch the latest movies with family at Starlight Cinemas. Numerous family-friendly movies are playing, and The Fate of the Furious opens this weekend. For all movies and show times, call 949.650.4300. Movie buffs should also note that The Triangle hosts movies throughout the Newport Beach Film Festival, from April 20 – 27.

Other hot dining spots at The Triangle include La Vida Cantina, where visitors feel like they have been transported to a vacation along the Mexican Riviera, with a sun-drenched patio and oversized palapas. Delicious new menu items that have quickly become favorites, include Elote (traditional Mexican street corn with paprika, mayo, cotija cheese, and lime), and the Flight of Guacamole (grilled corn and black beans, pomegrante, and mango pineapple) to start the meal. New entrees include Mushroom Veggie Tacos (seasoned mushrooms, spinach, onion, and garlic with chipotle mayo, queso fresco and avocado), Tamales (a choice of beef, chicken or both, and served with ranchera sauce, Mexican cream, and cotija cheese), and the Ribeye Steak (a 12 oz USDA choice ribeye steak with red bell pepper sauce and grilled onions.) For those who want to end their meal on sweet note, Bunuelos (cinnamon sugar tortilla chips with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce) have been added to the menu as well.

Located on the second level of The Triangle, La Vida Cantina can be reached at 949.612.2349.
