The District at Tustin Legacy turns 10! The popular Orange County lifestyle center marks its 10-year anniversary with new additions, plus a “Taste of 10” Anniversary Party on Thursday, Sept. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The ticketed event will feature a culinary and cocktail tasting experience from 15 restaurants, along with live entertainment, activities, and giveaways. Participating restaurants include The Hangar Bar at Whole Foods Market, The Halal Guys, Hatch, Kettlebar, Central Bar, Milkbox, Portola Coffee Roasters, The Winery, J.Zhou, Luna Rossa, Ike’s Love & Sandwiches, Mobtown Pizza, Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que, Nothing Bundt Cakes and RA Sushi.
Tickets are $20 if purchased in advance, $25 the week of and $30 at the door. Drink tickets will also be available for purchase at $10 per ticket or 3 for $20. Tickets can be purchased here.
A portion of proceeds from the event will benefit the Surfrider Foundation.
During the event, The District will also honor 10 community members selected for their outstanding service and support of the City of Tustin.
When The District first opened in 2007, it was the largest shopping center to be built in Orange County during that decade. Original tenants for the million-square foot center included anchors such as Orange County’s largest Whole Foods Market, Costco, TJ Maxx/HomeGoods, PetSmart, AMC Tustin 14 and Target.
The outdoor center now features nearly 100 specialty stores and restaurants— including Union Market Tustin, one of Orange County’s first food halls with over 20 unique eateries and independent retailers.
This year, The District welcomes a wave of notable new retail and dining concepts, including Prego, Pressed Juicery, Planet Fitness, Bar Louie, The Halal Guys, UnionRyde, Joon Shabu Shabu, Bear Cheese Tart, Black Steel Barbershop and more.
With annual sales of more than $470 million and millions of visitors a year, The District continues to rank among Orange County’s top 10 shopping centers.
More events to be announced in the coming months.
The center can be easily accessed off Tustin Ranch Road at Park Avenue in Tustin.
The District at Tustin Legacy is at 2437 Park Ave. in Tustin.
