The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel is celebrating 10 years of raising funds in support of children with autism through the annual Holiday Surfboard Auction. Honoring the resort’s Community Footprints commitment to supporting worthy causes, the seasonal event supports Surfers Healing, the original surf camp benefiting children with autism.

The Holiday Surfboard Auction showcases a selection of hand-painted surfboards from various artists that are displayed at the resort and auctioned off to benefit Surfers Healing.

Donated surfboards include works by such artists as Dana Louise Kirkpatrick, Jessy Nite, Lorin Fleming, marine life artist Wyland, Alison Mosshart (lead vocalist for the indie rock band The Kills), West Rubinstein (one of the most prolific artists in the New York Graffiti scene throughout the 1980s and ‘90s), Gareth Smith, among others.

Brawner Boards, Ellis Surfboards, Hobie, and Firewire also contributed boards in support of the cause. The auction runs through 5 p.m. PST on Sunday, December 31. Surfboards are on display at the oceanfront resort throughout the holiday season and bids can be placed at BiddingforGood.com/SurfersHealing.
