Hyatt Regency Newport Beach Summer Concert Series

Summer is officially here, which means the Bank of the West Summer Concert Series is right around the corner. This year’s sizzling lineup is headlined by three incredible artists making their Series debut, alongside the stars of contemporary jazz returning to the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. Tickets are on sale now.

The 12-week run of Friday evening concerts kicks off on July 13 with one of the most popular groups in contemporary jazz, The Rippingtons, and an opening performance by jazz fusion band Spyro Gyra. The Series continues with 10-time GRAMMY Award-winner Chaka Khan, acclaimed trumpeter Chris Botti, GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter and founder of Chicago Peter Cetera, multi-platinum recording artist LeAnn Rimes, Dave Koz Summer Horns, funky keyboardist Brian Culbertson, legendary Brazilian maestro Sergio Mendes among many others.

The annual concert series has drawn thousands of music fans to the resort’s intimate, one-of-a-kind Back Bay Amphitheater. The 1,000-seat outdoor concert venue offers unobstructed views of Newport’s Back Bay, with all seats less than 100 feet from the stage.

Prior to the concerts, guests have the option to pre-purchase a gourmet dinner buffet at the Hyatt’s signature restaurant, SHOR American Seafood Grill. SHOR features fresh-from-the-docks daily specials, focusing on simple, fresh ingredients – a perfect dining option to start the evening.

Tickets are on sale now for individual shows and Season Passes. Season Passes include tickets to all twelve concerts, including exclusive VIP benefits such as assigned premium seating, complimentary valet service, and access to the VIP Hospitality Suite with complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages. Skyboxes are also available. For tickets and more information, visit series.hyattconcerts.com.

Make A Wish Foundation is the official non-profit partner of the Bank of the West Summer Concert Series. Make A Wish is an organization creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Support their fundraising efforts and help save a child’s life by purchasing Make A Wish Foundation Preferred Seating, which donates $25 from every ticket purchased from this block of VIP seats.
