Terranea: Oceanfront Dinner for 2

At mar'sel at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, two can sit down to a four-course tasting dinner with a glass of wine (up to $15 value) per person for just $125. (reg. $206).

The first course (to share): cheese and charcuterie for the table; second course, choose from black kale salad Fra' Mani salami, ricotta salata, crushed olives, pepperoncini, oregano vinaigrette; or slow-braised Idaho pork cheek barley "risotto," roasted mushrooms, soft-cooked egg, black truffle butter; or albacore crostini with pickled pearl onion, avocado, and olives.

For the third course, choose between Maple Leaf duck breast, with butternut squash puree, winter greens, pomegranate, crushed almonds; or hanger steak, roasted Brussels sprouts, pancetta, apple, horseradish creme fraiche; or slow-cooked lamb Bolognese; or  orecchiette pasta with Gioia ricotta cheese, winter greens, and olive oil bread crumbs.
