The Inaugural Newport Beach Wine and Food Festival

In just three short months, food and wine enthusiasts can get excited about attending the first annual Newport Beach Wine and Food Festival at the Newport Beach Civic Center running from Sept. 20-21. Attendees can enjoy two days of tasting, sipping, and experiencing a culinary extravaganza with renowmed chefs, wineries, sommeliers, mixologists and jazz artists.

Starting today, you can get in on the discounted pre-sale tickets for the daytime epicuream festival. Pre-sale single day tickets start at $160 with two-day passes available for $300. Prices will increase after pre-sale tickets are sold. Tickets for the exclusive evening events, including a VIP launch party, pop-up event and grand finale, will be available soon.

The daytime festival will give guests unlimited access to:

Live Cooking Demonstrations from local executive chefs including, Mastro’s Ocean Club Chef Josef Morphis with Mastro’s Steakhouse Chef Nick Foegal, Café Jardin Chef Pascal, 24 Carrots and “Top Chef” Alumni Chef Ashley Santo Domingo, former Corporate Chef for “Iron Chef” Morimoto and Blue C Sushi Chef Jeffrey Lunak, Montage Chefs Lee Smith and Casey Overton, Studio Chef Craig Strong, Lemonade Chef Alan Jackson, Golden Truffle Chef Alan Greeley, MOZZA Chef Emily Corliss and Tamarind of London Chef Imran Ali.

World-renowned celebrity chefs will sharing tips through cooking demonstrations from “Top Chef All-Stars” winner Chef Richard Blais, “Chopped” winner Chef Joe Youkhan, James Beard Foundation “Best Chef South” 2014 winner and “Top Chef Masters” Alumni Chef Sue Zemanick with Chef John Ledbetter and “Cutthroat Kitchen” winner Chef Jamie Gwen with Fleming’s Newport Beach Executive Chef Mark Ogren.

Tastings from local restaurants, named the Grand Tasting Pavilion will be at the epicenter of the Festival.

The white tent with lavish chandeliers will be draped from the ceilings  where guests can lounge and mingle on settees and vintage linen covered furniture. There will be delectable bites and hors d’oeuvres from additional top local restaurants alongside tastings from fine wines and select spirits, mixology courses and tastings, as well as live jazz.

Restaurant partners currently include Tamarind of London, Pizzeria Mozza, Side Door, Five Crowns, The Crow Bar, Café Jardin, The Golden Truffle, Blue C Sushi, True Food Kitchen, Driftwood Kitchen, Fireside Tavern, Tommy Bahama, 24 Carrots, Montage Laguna Beach, The Loft, Studio, Selanne Steak Tavern, Wildfish Seafood Grille, Back Bay Bistro, The Quiet Woman and Nothing Bundt Cakes.
