BodyEnergy’s hand-powered Motorless Treadmill.
04.13.21
Irvine-based Body Energy Technology just launched the BodyEnergy Treadmill: a revolutionary way to work out your entire body without the risk of serious injury and excessive electric energy waste.
The BodyEnergy treadmill provides full-body fitness training that caters to every user - from young to old; novice to professional. The BodyEnergy burns twice as many calories as a standard treadmill and is fully controllable by the user's arms and legs, replacing the traditional electric motor. You can perform a range of workouts from an easy walking pace to a high-intensity workout.
It easily facilitates HIIT workouts (High Intensity Interval Training) for advanced training, yet it can also accommodate beginners, children, and seniors seeking to improve their strength and cardio conditioning. For advanced training, there are optional bungee resistance cords that attach to the ankles as well as a mid-section strap for safety. It is completely self-driven; when you stop, the machine stops with you. With 55 million treadmill users and 32 million elliptical users, BodyEnergy treadmill can help millions of people to exercise better and more safely.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions on entering commercial fitness clubs, more and more people are buying home fitness equipment. The BodyEnergy treadmill is an ideal choice for at-home fitness solutions. Lastly, it’s been deemed ‘the only safe treadmill for the 65 million seniors in the U.S.’

150 Years of Wild Snacking Fun
04.13.21
Just in time for National Animal Cracker Day on April 18, Stauffer's is celebrating 150 years of making snack time entertaining for the young and young at heart, as well as the fans, customers and employees that have made Stauffer's the #1 Brand of Animal Crackers in America*.
To mark this milestone, Stauffer’s is releasing a limited-edition Commemorative Bear Jug packaging featuring a nostalgic label. The label pays homage to Stauffer's NIFTY® packaging from the 1800s, and pairs it with the iconic bear jug recognized by cracker-loving families. The collectible 150th Anniversary Bear Jugs (Original and Chocolate) will be available in retailers nationwide early this summer.
The company, founded by David F. Stauffer, has evolved since its humble beginnings, but the company has stayed true to its roots by remaining in its York, PA-based headquarters, which has helped Central Pennsylvania become known as the Snack Food Capital of the World.
Over the years, the company has added full lines of baked snacks including the popular Ginger Snaps, Whales® Baked Cheddar Crackers, seasonal favorites and more – all made in the U.S.A. Now a division of the Meiji Co. LTD. of Japan, their products can be found on shelves across the nation.
Beyond this milestone, the future looks bright for Stauffer’s. The company continues to innovate by using simple ingredients in their products, and Stauffer's is looking to go completely peanut-free later this year. Stauffer's is also looking to use resealable pouches for some of their products, giving customers the convenience of snacking now and saving for later.
