Frozen Oatmilk Horchata at Puesto

Puesto Mexican Artisan Kitchen & Bar has collaborated with Califia Farms to offer a new Frozen Horchata. Califia’s Oatmilk, which is made from whole-grain, gluten-free oats that creates a delicious, creamy, non-dairy drink that can be enjoyed all summer long.
Puesto will donate a dollar from each Frozen Horchata purchase Chefs Cycle for No Kid Hungry, a fundraising endurance event featuring award-winning chefs and members of the culinary community fighting hunger outside the kitchen. Chef Cycle engages culinary talents to complete a 3-day, 300-mile ride to raise funds and awareness in support of No Kid Hungry. The 2020 ride has a goal of 275 chefs riding to help raise $2 million, which translates to 20 million meals for kids facing hunger.

The Willows Historic Palm Springs Inn, a luxury destination built in 1925 as a private residence and a Four-Diamond hideaway since 1996, has announced a special offer of $100 off any room, any night during the month of September. The Willows Historic Palm Springs Inn is a luxury compound consisting of two spacious 1925 mansions, the Mead and Bishop Houses. Built for two prominent Los Angeles couples and best friends, the structures are considered architectural “fraternal twins” as they are nearly identical.
The Willows features eight luxurious rooms, including one where Albert Einstein often stayed, and features an expansive Great Room, sweeping verandas and a dining area that opens onto a terrace with a cascading 50-foot waterfall as a backdrop. The Bishop House offers nine guest rooms, including a freestanding unit with an ADA-compliant suite on the lower level. The two properties are joined together by meandering footpaths and share a bougainvillea-draped swimming pool that is available for guest use 24-hours a day.
Amenities abound at The Willows, including gorgeous outdoor garden spaces, complimentary welcome snacks, Wifi, parking and electrical charging stations, nightly turn-down service, and guest-only access to the property.
