The Final Golden Chef Series

The finale of the Golden Chef Series will be celebrated on Saturday, June 18 at 2 p.m. at the Irvine Spectrum with chef Josh LaQuet, Brio Tuscan Grille and chef Alejandro Benes, Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill. Tickets are available here.
There is plenty of seating and shade provided, along with a fresh berry bar by Melissa's Produce and cold water. TV screens and high top tables are available for all to enjoy the demos free of charge! For those that want a VIP experience tickets can be purchased for $25 here.
The Golden Chef Series is hosted by Wing Lam, co-founder of Wahoo’s Fish Taco’s, along with co-host Charlie Plummer and co-host Tony Reverditto.
Irvine Spectrum is at 670 Spectrum Center Drive in Irvine.

The Meditation Conference

The Heartfulness Conference is L.A.’s largest meditation gathering at the University of Southern California on Sunday, June 12 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. You can learn to rest the mind, live from the heart, increase creativity, reduce stress and get more productive with a simple meditation method designed for a 21st-century lifestyle.
The event is free and open to all, registration is required.
Speakers will include Gopi Kallayil - Google Chief Evangelist and author of “The Internet to the Inner-Net.” Gopi is a prominent speaker on the benefits of meditation in the workplace. Comedian-turned-motivational speaker Kyle Cease will give a talk about releasing conditioned patterns by tapping into natural creativity. The highlight of the event is the guided meditation and Q&A with Kamlesh D. Patel, the global head of the organization. Varun Soni, PhD., USC’s Dean of Religious Life is the event host.
At University of Southern California in the Bovard Auditorium is at 3551 Trousdale Parkway in Los Angeles.
