Taste of Napa Comes to Huntington Beach and Returns to Napa Valley
04.04.26
Festival Napa Valley’s signature tasting event, Taste of Napa, will offer two opportunities in 2026 to experience the region’s wines and hospitality. For the first time, the event heads to Southern California in partnership with The Meritage Collection, with a coastal setting at Paséa Hotel & Spa in Huntington Beach on April 12. It then returns to Napa Valley at The Meritage Resort and Spa on July 11. Tickets for both events are now available.
The Huntington Beach debut brings Taste of Napa to the oceanfront, where guests can enjoy live music alongside pours from more than 30 wineries and culinary offerings from Paséa Hotel & Spa. Participating wineries include Aperture Cellars, Blackbird Vineyards, Bouchaine Vineyards, Clif Family Winery, Duckhorn Portfolio, Grgich Hills Estate, Lewis Cellars, Peju Winery, PlumpJack Collection, Turnbull Wine Cellars and more.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with general admission priced at $175. Ticket holders also receive 25 percent off best available room rates at Paséa Hotel & Spa from April 10 to 13.
In July, the event returns to Napa Valley as part of Festival Napa Valley’s Summer Season, taking place July 4 through 19. The Taste of Napa at The Meritage Resort and Spa features more than 100 wineries, restaurants and culinary artisans, along with live music and craft beverages.
The event runs from noon to 3 p.m., with general admission at $195. A Reserve Tasting Salon experience is available for $295 and includes early entry at 11 a.m., along with access to boutique wineries and curated culinary offerings in a private setting.
Guests attending the Napa event can also take advantage of a 20 percent discount on overnight accommodations at The Meritage Resort and Spa.

Peel Craftbar & Kitchen’s Cinco de Mayo Specials: Sophisticated Culinary Cocktails
04.30.24
To infuse the lively spirit of Cinco de Mayo with the sophistication and innovation found in The Peel Craftbar & Kitchen's cocktails, the restaurant within Hotel Fera Anaheim presents a special drink menu on Sunday, May 5th. Celebrating the occasion, the following Cinco de Mayo-inspired libations will steal the spotlight:
- Picante De La Casa – Crafted with Espolon Reposado Tequila, Cointreau, pineapple juice, lime, jalapenos, micro cilantro, agave nectar, and chia seeds.
- Mezcal con Jamaica – Featuring Lost Explore Espadin Mezcal, lime, lemon, house-made hibiscus-infused syrup, and Tajin.
- Mezcal Flight – An exploration of The Lost Explorer Mezcal Espadin, Tobala, and Salmiana with three one-ounce pours.
- El Tri Margarita Flight – Showcasing three variations:
La Sandia – Tequila, watermelon, schnapps, lime juice, lemon juice, and agave nectar.
Coco Loco – Coconut-washed tequila, pineapple juice, lime, lemon, coconut cream, and black lava salt.
Melon Verde – Tequila, Midori, lime, lemon, and honeydew syrup.
Echoing The Peel's signature cocktails, these Cinco de Mayo concoctions emphasize house-made ingredients like hibiscus and honeydew syrups, along with freshly squeezed lemon, lime, watermelon, and pineapple juices. Traditional Mexican flavors are invigorated with bold elements such as jalapeno peppers, micro-cilantro, agave nectar, Tajin, and coconut cream. Notably, the culinary flair extends to the Coco Loco, enriched with coconut-washed tequila.
Patrons delving into these vibrant cocktail specials can complement their Cinco de Mayo experience with renowned dishes from the restaurant. Noteworthy mentions include the Peel Fish Tacos, featuring mahi-mahi, sour orange adobo, coleslaw, fire-roasted tomato salsa, guacamole, lime, chipotle aioli, and cilantro on fresh corn tortillas. Additionally, Executive Chef Luis Martinez's Mexican heritage shines through in the Coastline Shrimp & Scallop Ceviche, a tantalizing ensemble of tomato, cucumber, avocado, yuzu, lime, crushed cilantro, and serrano peppers, served with tortilla chips.
Reservations are not required for Cinco de Mayo dining at The Peel. The restaurant’s food and cocktail menus change throughout the year as ingredients reach their peak flavor for consumption, allowing guests to taste the seasons as they enjoy a quick bite after work or a relaxing family dinner.
