Experience a Timeless Holiday Treasure: The Magic of The Nutcracker

Immerse your family in the enchantment of the holiday season with The Nutcracker, a beloved classic that delights audiences of all ages. Festival Ballet Theatre's family-oriented production brings a fresh sparkle to this age-old tradition with its stunning, vivid scenery and exquisite costumes. Let Tchaikovsky's famous score transport you as the Sugar Plum Fairy, our protagonist Clara, and a cast of hundreds lead you through an extraordinary adventure to whimsical realms. 

This full-length production, choreographed and directed by the acclaimed Salwa Rizkalla, Artistic Director of Festival Ballet Theatre, showcases the talents of world-class guest artists, the professional dancers of FBT, and remarkable young performers from the Southland.

Special Guest Performances December 21 & 22: Featuring Tiler Peck and Roman Mejia from New York City Ballet.

 Additional dates to be announced:

  • Saturday, December 23 at 1 p.m.
  • Saturday, December 23 at 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, December 24 at 11 a.m.

Exclusive Nutcracker Tea Party Enhance your Nutcracker experience with tickets to the pre-show Tea Party, a special holiday event. Adults can enjoy a glass of champagne while children are enthralled with The Nutcracker story and visits from characters of the ballet. The elegant tea party offers delightful finger sandwiches, sweet treats, tea, and lemonade. Each guest will have photo opportunities and receive a special party favor.

Tickets for the Tea Party can be purchased by selecting the "with Tea" option when choosing your seats online. The Tea Party is hosted in the exclusive Jade Room at the Barclay, one hour before each performance.
