Happy for Yappy Hour!

Yappy Hour

Heading out for the evening often means leaving Fido, Rover and Buddy at home. Wouldn't it be fun to bring your furry, four-legged friend along? The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel has the perfect solution to your doggy dilema - monthly Yappy Hour!

On May 15, June 19, July 17, Aug. 21 and Sept. 18, your pup can relax on the Dana Lawn while enjoying hand-made dog biscuits and bacon, chicken, cheese, beef and liver flavored water, while you can purchase burgers, brews and wines (no biscuits for you!).

Besides getting to hang out with your terrier, hound or teacup, proceeds from Yappy Hour support the Wounded Veterans Initiative of Canine Companions for Independence, which works to pair assistance dogs with recent veterans who could greatly benefit from the companion. Specifically, your evening out will offset the costs of the organization's puppy raising program, which includes training and obedience classes, as well as transportation, spaying, neutering and boarding costs for puppies.

The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel is located at One Ritz-Carlton Drive in Dana Point.
