The experts at Style 2020 know just how to bring out the very of both men and women's personal style whether you are preparing to look stunning at your office holiday party, going out for cocktails, sipping egg nog with the in-laws or want to remember the holidays as a loving time with family instead of frantically digging through your closet.

A Well-Earned Salute
Soprano’s, a favorite local Italian restaurant in Costa Mesa, is honoring veterans Friday by offering current military men and women and veterans a complimentary lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Soprano's offer fresh Italian recipes handed down from the Italian grandmother of owner Joe Morano. Favorite menu items include penne alla Joe's Nana, lightly breaded eggplant and fresh ricotta with housemade marinara sauce; and penne con sarge, with sliced grilled chicken and sundried tomatoes in a light cream sauce flavored with tarragon and cognac.
Also choose from antipastis, insalate, hot and cold sandwiches on Italian baguettes, homemade calzones, pastas, entree specials and fresh made to order pizzas.
Open for lunch 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Open for dinner 4:30 to 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

Lucca in Irvine is honoring Veteran’s Day this Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. by giving active-duty military and veterans a free lunch plate (choose from sandwiches, salads and pastas) with a soft drink or coffee.
"There are no strings attached – we encourage those who have served our country in the past, or are doing so now, to come in and allow us to express our appreciate with a small gesture," co-owner
and Chef Cathy Pavlos says. "It’s the least we can do for all that they do to serve and protect our country."
Chef Cathy and her husband Elliot Pavlos are celebrating the day in honor of her father, a Korean War Veteran who passed away earlier this year. Guests can also leave their name, rank, company, and dates of service to be thanked in in Lucca’s weekly e-newsletter.

Pretend City Children’s Museum pays tribute to members of the military and their immediate family by giving free admission on Veteran’s Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be fun activities and patriotic music playing throughout the day. Visitors are asked to wear red, white and blue to show their support and patriotism. Members of the military are invited to wear their uniforms.

Taste Fall!
Join a Taste of Fall on Friday from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Second Harvest Food Bank at Orange County Great Park in Irvine. The eco-friendly and charity foodie event celebrates the launch of the Positive Plate, an initiative to promote sustainability at OC restaurants.
Taste signature dishes created by Positive Plates participating restaurants including Sol Cocina, Taco Asylum, Haven Gastropub, Duke's, Sage, Avanti Cafe, Xahn Bistro, and Haute Cakes, as well as a hosted bar with craft beer, organic wine, and organic cocktails. Entertainment provided by Michael Castro of “American Idol” fame, along with the Common Kings and Jacob Littrell, plus enjoy local art and a silent auction.
All proceeds will go to OC non-profits promoting health and nutrition: Kid Healthy, OC Food Access Coalition, and the Second Harvest Food Bank. Tickets cost $60 and include all food and drinks.
