INAUGURAL ALL-STAR CHEF CLASSIC

Foodies will revel in the inaugural All-Star Chef Classic debuting March 21-23 at L.A. LIVE. It’s the first modern food event at L.A. Live starring more than 25 acclaimed chefs from around the world offering up-close and interactive dining experiences.

Culinary enthusiasts will recognize the chefs participating in the three-day event including Iñaki Aizpitarte, Roy Choi, Michael Cimarusti, Josiah Citrin, Dominique Crenn, Vinny Dotolo, Wylie Dufresne, Graham Elliot, Jennifer Jasinski, Gavin Kaysen, Ludo Lefebvre, David LeFevre, Donald Link, Waylynn Lucas, Marc Meneau, David Myers,  Nancy Oakes, Alain Passard, Naomi Pomeroy, Paul Qui, Alex Seidel, Jon Shook, Nancy Silverton, and Ricardo Zarate.

One of the highlights of the event include the “French Masters Dinner” on Friday, March 21 (cocktail reception at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m.) when four of France's greatest chefs: Alain Passard, Ludo Lefebvre, Inaki Aizpitarte and Marc Meneau collaborate and prepare a five course dinner paired with French wine in the Restaurant Stadium.

There will also be an “All-Star Lunch” on Saturday from 12 to 2:30 p.m. celebrating women chefs (Chefs Dominique Crenn, Nancy Oakes, Nancy Silverton, Naomi Pomeroy and Waylynn Lucas) who will be collaborating on a multi-course lunch paired with wine from women wine makers.

The “Grill and Chill” is a nighttime celebration on Saturday from 7:30 to 10 p.m. featuring 10 diverse chefs demonstrating the ways different cultures cook over an open flame in the Chefs’ Tasting Arena. The international cookout will include Roy Choi, Michael Cimarusti, Ludo Lefebvre, Gabrielle Hamilton, Gavin Kaysen, Donald Link, Naomi Pomeroy, Paul Qui, Jon Shook and Ricardo Zarate,

“Savor the Season” is the finale event on Sunday from noon to 2:30 p.m. with a Farmer’s Market celebration of seasonal, fresh, local ingredients cooked by All-Star chefs including Wylie Dufresne, Nancy Silverton, Jennifer Jasinski, David Myers, Vinny Dotolo, David LeFevre, Josiah Citrin, Graham Elliot, Alex Seidel, Waylynn Lucas and Benjamin Ford. The chefs will create seasonal dishes using produce from a local purveyor/farmer giving guests in the Chef's Tasting Arena a variety of tastes, as well as recipe cards to prepare the dish at home.
