Van Leeuwen Ice Cream’s Newest Scoop Shop

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, the beloved NYC-born brand famous for its delectable made-from-scratch dairy and vegan ice creams, has just opened its seventh location. The new scoop shop, situated at 2ND & PCH in Long Beach, is the first of three LA area openings planned for this summer, with Fairfax and Woodland Hills soon to follow.

What began as a humble yellow scoop truck roaming the streets of NYC in 2008 has now evolved into a sensation. Van Leeuwen's French-style ice cream, crafted with an extra-rich blend of egg yolks, quickly won the hearts of ice cream enthusiasts. Today, the brand boasts storefronts across multiple states, including New York, California, Colorado, Connecticut, DC, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Their delicious offerings can also be found in grocery stores nationwide, from Safeway and Walmart to Whole Foods.

Van Leeuwen is committed to creating ice cream that not only tastes good but also makes you feel good. This philosophy extends to their vegan options, which are crafted with simple recipes and premium ingredients. It's not just "vegan ice cream"; it's exceptional ice cream that happens to be vegan!

Their extensive menu features over 30 signature flavors, such as Honeycomb, Pistachio sourced from Mount Etna in Sicily, Marionberry Cheesecake featuring vine-ripened berries from Stahlbush Island Farms in Oregon, Praline Butter Cake, and Earl Grey Tea. Additionally, they offer sundaes, housemade waffle cones, ice cream sandwiches, root beer floats, milkshakes, and pints to-go. Their popular vegan flavors, made with oat and cashew milk, include Churros & Fudge, Peanut Butter Brownie Honeycomb, and Strawberry Shortcake, among others.

Van Leeuwen is renowned for its creative seasonal and limited-edition collaboration flavors, such as Hidden Valley Ranch, Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, and BIGFACE Coffee Affogato in partnership with NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler. They also introduce quarterly seasonal specials, and this summer's lineup features tantalizing options like Passion Fruit Berry Pop, Ice Cream Cake, Vegan Pina Colada, and Lemon Sorbet, available until August 31.

Located in the 2ND & PCH shopping center, the scoop shop is nestled on the ground level near the grand staircase. Visitors can indulge in their delightful treats right at the shop or opt for takeout or delivery by ordering pints to enjoy at their convenience.

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream's new Long Beach location promises to be a haven for ice cream enthusiasts seeking exceptional flavors and the joy of a sweet summer indulgence.
