Bracken’s Kitchen Hungry Games 5.0

For the fifth year, BRACKEN’S KITCHEN is excited to host its signature culinary event benefiting the less fortunate and food insecure in Southern California. This year’s edition, THE HUNGRY GAMES 5.0 is bigger than ever before.

It will feature talented, local chefs creating their trademark dishes and competing in the organization’s very own 9,000-square-foot kitchen in Garden Grove on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Pinch Me! band will also be returning to play some incredible live music again.

Bracken’s Kitchen welcomes a variety of Southern California's top chefs including Master Baker Dean Kim - OC Baking, Chef Michael Rossi - Zéytoon Cafe HG 4.0 Champion, Allan Tea - Cali Dumpling Company, Roberto Hernandez - Avalon Grill, Rainer Schwartz - Hendrix & Driftwood, Amar Santana – Vaca, Rich Mead – FarmhouseTarit Tanjasiri - Crema Bakery, Rachel Klemek – Blackmarket Bakery, Mike Owens & Kris Kirk - Bracken's Kitchen, and Charlie Negrete & Culinary Training Students - Bracken's Kitchen.

All are invited to The Hungry Games 5.0 as the organization seeks to raise awareness about childhood hunger and food insecurity in Southern California, and create more partnerships with individuals who want to be a part of the solution. 100% of the proceeds from the event will support the work and programs of Bracken’s Kitchen.
