
At Orange County’s annual “A Taste of Greece” festival Friday through Sunday at St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church in Irvine. you’re in for the best traditional Greek dishes, delicious homemade pastries and a variety of drinks, highlighted with a “Taverna,” offering Greek wines and beer.
Arrive hungry, since you can fill up on delicious chicken, lamb chops, Greek French fries, gyros, pastichio (Greek lasagna), loucanico (Greek sausage), spanakopita (spinach and feta pie), dolmathes (stuffed grape leaves), saganaki (Greek brandy-flamed cheese), loukoumathes (Greek doughnut holes), Greek salad, calamari and more.
In addition to the traditional Greek cuisine and wine, the three-day festival will feature live music, Greek dancing with lessons and boutique booths.

The festival is open 5 to 10 p.m. Friday; noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 25; and noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 26. Festival admission costs just $3 per person with free admission on Saturday, from noon – 5 p.m. for seniors 65 and older. Children under the age of 10 are admitted free. Free festival parking with complimentary shuttle buses.

The Sawdust Festival is back—the 45th annual summer show starts Friday, featuring art and crafts from more than 200 local artists.
Stop by daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. to find hand-blown and fused glass, original art, jewelry, ceramics, wood and metal sculpture, photography, and more.
Many of the artists will be on hand offering live art demonstrations or art workshops.

Summer Soiree!
OC Weekly is hosting its annual summer soiree Saturday complete with a bikini fashion show, hula dancers, local art and music and silent auction to benefit Krochet Kids intl.
Krochet Kids intl is three guys from Washington who care both about their head fashion and pulling people out of poverty by creating a sustainable cycle of employment and empowerment in third world countries.
The party to kick off OC Weekly's Summer Guide is from 6 to 10 p.m. at Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach. Tickets are available for purchase online for $10 and are $15 at the door.
Live entertainment will be provided by Micah Brown, Originalites, Olio and DJ Velvet Touch and you can check out surf-inspired pop-up shops by Graffiti Beach, which helps emerging fashion designers, artists, musicians, models, hosts and DJs make their way in the industry.

Concours d'Elegance
To celebrate the 125th anniversary of the automobile in style, some of the world's greatest companies will be showing off collector cars and their culture at the 29th Annual Dana Point Concours d'Elegance, at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point.
With event sponsor Black, Starr & Frost - the legendary company mentioned by Marilyn Monroe in "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" - combining fine jewelry, exotic cars and gorgeous weather, the event appeals to everyone's sense of taste.
Proceeds will benefit the Ocean Institute, the Mary & Dick Allen Diabetes Center at Hoag Hospital and other Southern California youth charities.
