The beloved Scottish nanny is making her way to Costa Mesa! Rob McClure will reprise his Tony-nominated Broadway role in this internationally acclaimed musical, praised by critics as “wonderful, heart-warming, and laugh-out-loud funny” (Manchester Evening News) and a “feel-good, family-friendly comedy that delivers” (The Hollywood Reporter). Directed by four-time Tony Award® winner Jerry Zaks, Mrs. Doubtfire brings to life the humorous and heartfelt story of an out-of-work actor willing to do anything for his children. The story follows out-of-work actor Daniel Hillard, who, after losing custody of his children in a messy divorce, creates the alter ego of Scottish nanny Euphegenia Doubtfire in a desperate attempt to stay in their lives. As Mrs. Doubtfire, Daniel learns more than he expected about being a father. This musical comedy, filled with humor and heart, tells a touching story about holding onto loved ones against all odds.
