The acclaimed American fashion brand Veronica Beard just opened its latest boutique at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. The brand, synonymous with polished and practical ready-to-wear apparel, aligns seamlessly with Newport's reputation as a premier destination for luxury shopping.
Co-founders and sisters-in-law, Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard, have been at the forefront of fashion since their brand's inception in 2010, which is now celebrated for creating the iconic Dickey Jacket. Their debut on the New York Fashion stage in September 2012 was just the beginning. Now, with over thirty retail spaces and a vision for global reach by the end of 2024, Veronica Beard continues to champion clothing that empowers women and embodies their ethos of crafting fashion 'for the woman who makes it happen.'
The store's design, curated by resident interior designer Carolina de Neufville, merges Veronica Beard's distinctive aesthetic with the relaxed elegance of Southern California. The space is a testament to creativity, featuring organic materials and modern touches that create an eclectic yet harmonious ambiance, accented by elements inspired by nature.
With an inviting atmosphere, the store is a testament to Newport Beach's lifestyle. Customers are welcomed by expansive travertine tables and seating ensembles highlighted by detailed twists, a centerpiece coffee table of raw acacia wood, and rattan chairs upholstered in Claremont fabric. Raffia wallpaper from Newcastle Fabrics adds a textural backdrop to the space.
As the seventh individual store in California—the new store sets the tone for Veronica Beard's expansion. A San Diego location will follow in April 2024. The collection available spans their renowned classics, including the Dickey Jacket, and extend to a broad range of apparel and accessories. Since its founding, the brand has continually evolved, and the new Fashion Island store marks an important milestone as the 33rd location for Veronica Beard.
Find Veronica Beard at 401 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach, where fashion meets function in the heart of the west coast. 949.996.9030.
