Get a Taste of the Great Park Neighborhoods

Explore the Great Park Neighborhoods in Irvine this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. a unique community of beautiful new homes joined together by walking and biking trails designed to enrich your life in a variety of innovative ways. It’s a microcosm where you can focus on family and friends, personal health and wellbeing. Enjoy the bounty of nature and food fresh from the garden - with a mix of shops, schools, offices and parks also close to home.

You’re invited to get a taste of the lifestyle that inspired the neighborhood at the Meet Our Builder event on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a showcase of nature and summer. It’s an opportunity to explore the plans and interact with the 8 featured builders, kids activities like a movie in the park, an origami station, and a balloon artist, a refreshing fresh juice and lemonade bar, miniature pies, lots of cookies, and plenty of giveaways for you and the family to enjoy.

The first of the Great Park Neighborhoods, Pavilion Park, will surround a large, central park shaded by majestic heritage trees and will add a touch of relaxed nature to everyday life. The neighborhood features ten fresh, new home collections, each inspired by classic, American Heritage architecture, by eight of Southern California's premiere homebuilders including K. Hovnanian Homes, Lennar, William Lyon Homes, Pulte Homes, Richmond American Homes, Ryland Homes, Shea Homes and Taylor Morrison.

Skate Camp at Volcolm Headquarters

Skateboard enthusiasts who want to learn the basics or further their shredding skills can sign up for National Scholastic Skateboarding League’s skate camp at Volcolm’s indoor skatepark. The next session starts the week of Monday, July 29 to Friday, August 2. (One-day camps are ok too.)
The skate camp includes clinics with NSSL Skateboarding coaches and surprise skater sessions throughout the week, and field trips. All campers will receive a video of their progress.

The camp costs $175 per person for the week, or $50 a day. Prizes, lunch and snacks included. To sign up call 949.502.8800 ext. 205, or send a check payable to NSSL at 1600 Dove St. Suite 101 in Newport Beach.

The skate camp is at Volcolm Headquarters 1740 Monrovia Ave., in Costa Mesa.
