Come Fly With Providence

For the past 50 years, Providence Speech and Hearing Center in Orange has been enriching life through the gifts of speech and hearing in Orange County. In celebration, you can attend its annual benefit event, "Come Fly With Providence," at the Lyon Air Museum on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014.

At the aviation-themed event you can wear your favorite cocktail or jet setter attire at 6 p.m., to enjoy an evening of dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions and live music and entertainment.

A special part of the evening will be the “Fund-a-Need” portion where guests can help be a part of the creation of the Cochlear Implant Project, a collaboration between Providence and CHOC.  A cochlear implant is an electronic medical device that replaces the function of the damaged inner ear.

Unlike hearing aids, which make sounds louder, cochlear implants do the work of damaged parts of the inner ear (cochlea) to provide sound signals to the brain.

The celebration will include hors d’oeuvres and a delicious dinner by Suzanne’s Catering.

Tax-deductible tickets for “Come Fly With Providence” cost $350.

The Lyon Air Museum is at 19300 Ike Jones Road in Santa Ana.
