El Corazon is Out. La Vida Cantina is In.

El Corazon at the Triangle in Costa Mesa is out. La Vida Cantina is in--come June. The rebrand, construction and improvements of the new modern Mexican restaurant are courtesy of Rob Arellano of Identity Management Group.

La Vida’s oversize patio bar and fireplace terrace on the entertainment level of the Triangle will offer a menu of fresh, house-made specialties including the La Vida Burrito (with a choice of grilled chicken or steak in a flour tortilla filled with refried black beans, cheese and pico de gallo, topped with red and green enchilada sauce, cotija cheese, avocado and drizzled with Mexican cream), enchiladas de la langosta (two Maine lobster enchiladas in a poblano cilantro tomatillo sauce topped with cheese and a drizzled with a Mexican cream), ahi tostaditas (three small crispy tortillas topped with fresh diced ahi, house chipotle sauce, avocado, mango, red onion, cilantro and serrano pepper) and shrimp ceviche (shrimp in a mango, red onion, cucumber, cilantro, serrano pepper and tomato salsa.)

The multiple bars will offer extensive cocktails with premium tequilas, signature margaritas and handcrafted martinis. Craft beers and an array of wines will also be available.

La Vida Cantina will open for dinner Monday through Friday at 4 pm, lunch on Saturday at 11 am, and Sunday brunch at 9 am. Happy Hour will also be offered Thursday through Saturday from 4 to 7 pm, and a late night Happy Hour from 11 pm until 2 am. The restaurant will open soon for lunch daily.
