One of the premiere culinary events of the year, the 8th annual Share Our Strength Taste of the Nation Laguna Beach will take place on Sunday, May 17 at the Montage Laguna Beach. The No Kid Hungry culinary event aims to end childhood hunger in America through a partnership with celebrity chefs and mixologists from all across the nation---100% of the tickets sales support their mission.
You can enjoy an afternoon of delectable dishes, wine, signature cocktails, and incredible panoramic oceanfront views at Montage Laguna Beach.
The event will also feature a fantastic silent and live auction and live entertainment by the local band The Kalama Brothers.
Executive Chef Craig Strong of Studio, Montage Laguna Beach’s Signature Restaurant, will be joined by the following talented top chefs: Chef Greg Daniels at Haven Gastropub and Provisions Market, Old Towne Orange; Chef Shirley Chung, Twenty Eight Restaurant and Lounge, Irvine; Chef David Coleman, Chinina Steakhouse, Long Beach; Chef Ben Ford, Fords Filling Station, Los Angeles; Chef Lee Smith, Executive Pastry Chef, Montage Laguna Beach; Chef Marcel Vigneron, Beefsteak, Los Angeles; and Chef Ari Taymor, Alma, Los Angeles.
Guests can choose between the following event packages: celebrity chef tasting from 3 to 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $200 per person or at the door for $225 per person.
There’s also a VIP “Meet the Chefs” reception from 6 to 8 p.m. where you can complete enjoy the celebrity chef tasting followed by an after party to mingle with the chefs.
Valet parking and post-event gifts are included. Tickets purchased in advance are $275 per person or $300 at the door.
Proceeds locally benefit the Community Action Partnership of Orange County and Second Harvest Orange County Food Bank. Both organizations are fighting to end childhood hunger in Orange County.
