A Mother’s Day Gathering with Costa Mesa History

The Costa Mesa Historical Society is celebrating its 60th year with a special Mother’s Day brunch and speaker program that brings the community together around the stories that define Costa Mesa.

On Sunday, May 10, guests are invited to gather at the Norma Hertzog Community Center for an afternoon featuring local journalist, Greer’s OC founder and author of Born in OC, Greer Wylder.

The presentation will highlight the artists, entrepreneurs and visionaries who have shaped Orange County, sharing the kinds of stories that continue to inspire and connect this community.

More than a brunch, this is a meaningful way to celebrate mothers, grandmothers and the women who have made an impact, while spending time with an organization that has played an important role in preserving Costa Mesa’s history for six decades.

The Costa Mesa Historical Society continues to be a vital part of the community, collecting, protecting and sharing the stories that might otherwise be lost. Events like this help support future programs, exhibitions and educational efforts.
