Dream Glow Festival Returns to Celebrate the Beauty of Chinese Culture

This holiday season, Dream Glow Festival returns to Wild Rivers Waterpark in Irvine, bringing even more dazzling lantern displays and authentic Chinese cultural experiences to Southern California. Running nightly from November 5 through December 30, the festival invites visitors to immerse themselves in a spectacular celebration where ancient traditions meet breathtaking artistry.

Created in partnership with Wcreative, Dream Glow Festival will feature more than 1,000 handcrafted illuminated lanterns, designed and built by skilled artisans from China. Inspired by the renowned lantern-making heritage of Zigong, these larger-than-life displays transform the park into a glowing world of vibrant colors, legendary creatures, seasonal scenes, and imaginative landscapes.

Continuing its mission to share the richness of traditional Chinese culture, this year’s festival expands its cultural programming with a variety of live performances and interactive experiences. Guests will enjoy captivating performances of Bianlian (Sichuan Face-Changing), energetic Yangge folk dance, and other traditional Chinese entertainment throughout the season.

For visitors interested in learning more about this centuries-old art form, Dream Glow Festival will also offer a special lantern-making workshop, where guests can discover how traditional Chinese lanterns are designed and constructed by experienced craftspeople, providing a rare behind-the-scenes look at this celebrated cultural tradition.

Beyond the cultural performances, the festival offers themed illuminated pathways, immersive photo opportunities, family-friendly activities, and festive attractions designed to delight guests of every age. Whether you’re celebrating the holidays with family, enjoying a romantic evening, or exploring with friends, Dream Glow Festival promises an unforgettable winter experience.

Ticket information and the complete entertainment schedule will be announced soon through the Dream Flows Festival website and official social media channels.

Experience the wonder of thousands of glowing lanterns and the timeless beauty of Chinese culture—only at Dream Glow Festival this holiday season.
