Ocean 48, the highly anticipated new restaurant, has opened its doors at Fashion Island, taking over the former Fig & Olive location near Red O. Created by the James Beard-nominated Mastro brothers, Jeffery and Michael, along with their father Dennis and business partner Scott Trolio, Ocean 48 offers a luxurious and contemporary fine dining experience specializing in seafood and steak.
The restaurant boasts an elaborate glass-enclosed show kitchen, an interior reflection pool, private dining suites, and a selection of intimate dining rooms, all designed to provide a unique coastal atmosphere. Ocean 48 is dedicated to using the highest quality ingredients and delivering exceptional personal service, ensuring every detail contributes to an unforgettable dining experience.
Ocean 48 redefines seafood dining in a vibrant, luxurious setting, featuring a world-class selection of the finest fresh fish and shellfish from around the globe. It also showcases the outstanding steaks the Mastro brothers are renowned for at Steak 48, including USDA Prime and Wagyu beef, along with a rare Kobe A5 wine-fed offering.
The menu features crave-worthy appetizers and sides, such as caviar cones, chicken-fried lobster tails, chef’s cut hanging bacon, and chive and cream cheese stuffed hashbrowns, promising a truly memorable culinary journey.
