
Team Kids is inviting you to join them on Sunday, March 23 at the 7th Annual Imagine Event at Il Forniaio restaurant in Irvine. It’s a fun-filled family event that celebrates Team Kids successes with award-winning cuisine, entertainment and a kids’s carnival. Delicious buffet lunch and silent auction from 1 to 4 p.m., awards and presentations at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $50 for adults, $10 for teens, free for kids 12 and under. At the Team Kids Imagine Event (or even online here) you can buy a $25 opportunity raffle ticket for an incredible adventure--a breathtaking helicopter ride to the Oakley World Headquarters. You will be greeted by Oakley CEO Colin Baden and enjoy a behind the scenes tour. The amazing architecture and design of the Oakley compound includes a 400-seat amphitheater, bunkers, and product torture chambers.
And there are also great auction items: a week in Maui; Il Fornaio wine cellar experience with Marchello Apollonio; Ducks Box Suite and ride to event in the Vintage Team Kids Bus; USC football tickets with limo ride.
Team Kids is changing the trajectory of children’s lives. If you’re not already familiar with Team Kids, we want you to know all about the incredible feats this Irvine based non-profit is accomplishing. Since its inception in 2001, Team Kids has organized free and innovative programs to schools giving children the opportunity to help raise funds for community charities. More than 56,000 students have raised over $400,000 with 100 percent going to other youth-serving charities.
Local students have educated themselves about and raised funds for critical community issues like hunger, homelessness, and the environment to name just a few. The mission was originally created by partners in Irvine, has now grown to other schools in Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Rancho Santa Margarita, and Palos Verdes. And, will soon be carried out in Arlington County, VA.
