Taco Nirvana

SOL Cocina in Newport Beach will open its sister concept, solita tacos & margaritas on Thursday at Huntington Beach's Bella Terra Center. The new casual Mexican eatery will offer imaginative dishes and traditional favorites complete with an all-weather patio and indoor/outdoor bar, as well as take-out service.

solita will bring culinary flavors from the coast of Baja, much in the same way as SOL, with a modern interpretation of Mexican foods, focusing on fresh ingredients, big flavors, and seasonally changing menus.

The inspiration for solita’s menu is the open oak-fired grill and smoker where Executive Chef Deborah Schneider can prepare tacos, carne asada, skirt steak asada, ancho chile chicken, oak–roasted chipotle chicken, house carnitas, red chile borracho beef and wood-grilled wild fish.

The bar menu at solita will offer traditional Mexican cocktails, featuring only fresh fruit-based and agave-sweetened margaritas made with 100% blue agave tequilas. Recipes will be made in-house with fresh citrus juices and sugar, and contain no HFCS, preservatives or coloring. solita will offer an extensive selection of artisan, premium and ultra premium tequilas.

solita tacos & margaritas will open for dinner service on Thursday, and will open for lunch service on Friday.

At Huntington Beach’s Bella Terra Center, 7631 Edinger Avenue, Suite 1508 in Huntington Beach. 714.894.2792.
