Surfas Culinary District Hosts “Comforting Soups and Stews”
 You’re invited to Surfas Culinary District at SOCO on Sunday, September 22 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. for a hands-on cooking class to learn new tips and techniques on how to use fall’s hearty ingredients in an array of warm and comforting recipes. For the Culinary Conscious … Learn the best secrets to shopping and cooking organically at PIRCH
Join the expert culinary team at PIRCH will teach the value of keeping an organic kitchen, with tips and tricks on how to select and buy organic meat, produce and pantry essentials. For the Green-thumb… Learn + Grow Class at Rolling Greens
Come get a lesson from the pros on planting Terrariums with Rolling Green’s skilled floral designer on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 2  to 4 p.m. The class will give easy step-by-step instructions on planting basics and soil layering to help you create a beautiful terrarium arrangement. For the Aspiring Artist …. Peinture’s “Furniture Painting 101 Workshop”

Even the most artistically challenged person will love this fun, introductory hands-on workshop taking place on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. Bring a small piece of old furniture and learn how to transform it into a modern splendor using paint, wax, and distressing techniques. NHHS Volleyball Team Presents “Style in Sports” Fundraiser Fashion Show
The Newport Harbor High School Volleyball team is hosting their 2nd Annual Fundraiser Fashion Show on Sunday, Sept. 22 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., featuring special runway appearances from three-time Olympic gold medalist Misty May-Treanor & silver Olympic medalist April Ross. ‘Design On Screen Film Night’ at Design Within Reach
Join Design Within Reach and Laguna Beach-based architecture interest group, Laguna Friends of Architecture, on
Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for a film night featuring architect Donald Wexler and Palm Springs Modernism. First-ever Patchwork Show: Edible Edition
SOCO is hosting for the first-time ever the Patchwork Edible Edition for two days, Saturday, Oct. 5 from 11 a.m. to  8  p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 6 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The two-day event will showcase the flourishing artisan food movement in SoCal through an interactive weekend filled with baking programs, food trucks, restaurant pop-ups, book signings, beer and wine gardens, samples and more! Halloween-Themed Outdoor Movie Night
Enjoy a kid-friendly Halloween outdoor movie night with the family on Friday, Oct. 25 at 3 p.m.!
