Intimate Pop-Up Dinner With 24 Carrots

For the first time, 24 carrots, one of SoCal’s most sought-after catering and events companies, is offering a pop-up dinner series debuting on May 22 at 7 to 10 p.m. at Rancho Las Lomas in Silverado. The talented team, including award-winning Chef Ashley Santo Domingo nominated for James Beards’ Rising Star and Pastry Chef Robert LeSage, will showcase the bold and complex flavors of Spanish cuisine with organic and seasonal ingredients.

It’s 24 carrots twist on classic Spanish fare; each tasting will be thoughtfully paired with a delicious wine pairing. Tastings include mini paella, pan roasted halibut con arròs negre, and lomo embuchado - house cured pork tenderloin. The evening will end sweetly with Chef Lesage's Tres Leches paired with the perfect sherry.

Seating is limited. It costs $175 per person, and includes 6 courses with wine pairings. 10% of sales will benefit OC-based nonprofit Share Our Selves . To reserve your seat at  the pop-up table, visit 24carrots.com/popup.

Rancho Las Lomas is at 19191 Lawrence Canyon in Silverado.

Up coming 24 carrots pop up dinners include Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano; Thursday, July 31 at 7 p.m.; and Thursday, August 28 at 7 p.m. at a yet to be determined location.
