Kei Concepts, the visionary culinary group behind some of Orange County’s most popular dining destinations, is thrilled to announce the opening of its third ROL Hand Roll Bar in Irvine on Wednesday, September 25. The new location will join the group's vibrant restaurant offerings at Irvine’s Heritage Center, alongside sister spots Nếp Cafe and Súp Noodle Bar.
With existing locations in Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach, ROL Hand Roll Bar offers a contemporary take on the traditional sushi experience, focusing on expertly crafted hand rolls that blend classic and modern flavors. The intimate bar-only seating for 22 guests ensures a personalized chef-to-table experience for each diner.
Continuing its dedication to quality, ROL’s new Irvine space will feature the finest ingredients, house-made sauces, and a lively dining ambiance. Guests can savor a variety of hand rolls, from favorites like tuna, salmon, unagi, and blue crab to premium options such as A5 wagyu beef, lobster & truffle, and Santa Barbara uni. The menu also includes shareable appetizers like albacore or salmon tartare, furikake fries, and chili garlic edamame, along with donburi rice bowls and inari sushi.
The interior design of ROL’s Irvine location balances modern style with natural warmth. Wooden tables, chairs, and shelving create a welcoming atmosphere, while a stone bar adds texture and serves as a centerpiece. Strategically placed lighting enhances the space, offering a bright, open feel during the day and a cozy ambiance in the evening.
The opening of ROL Hand Roll Bar in Irvine marks another exciting chapter in what has been a momentous year for Kei Concepts.
The group’s flagship, Súp Noodle Bar, celebrated its 10th anniversary this year, highlighting a decade of growth and culinary innovation. Following the recent debut of Kei Coffee House in July, Kei Concepts is set to further expand with upcoming openings of Vox Kitchen at South Coast Plaza and a family-style Sino-Vietnamese restaurant, blending nostalgic flavors with modern cuisine.
ROL Hand Roll Bar’s newest location will open in Irvine (14370 Culver Dr. STE #2G) and will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. For menu details and more information visit the website.
