The Finest Sweets of Paris in OC

The finest in French sweets can be found at a new boutique, Douceurs de Paris in Corona del Mar. It’s the creation of Anne-laure Deconinck of Paris who is bringing her favorite memories of France in the way of fresh French macaroons and premium French chocolates, beautiful candied almonds, toffees and teas. It’s the perfect place to find gifts for holidays, baby showers or weddings, or just as a treat.

“Born in a French food merchant family, I had to open a French food store allowing Americans to travel through my childhood food and flavors,” Anne-laure said. “Since my early childhood, being with people motivates me, as well as sharing my roots and allowing others discover the French culture through the genuineness of its food.”

Douceurs de Paris proudly offers Maxim's de Paris chocolates exclusively to the U.S., and the famous French tea house, Nina's tea. It also offers special occasion Maison Mazet confections since 1903. Choose from chocolates, as well as the famous 'Prasline Mazet de Montargis', a perfectly caramelized almond.

The French macaroons are hand baked by a French baker and are always gluten-free. You can choose from an array of flavors such as traditional favorites such as chocolate, vanilla, orange, lemon, strawberry, raspberry, coffee, pistachio, hazelnut, to more gourmet flavors such as sea salt caramel, rose and Earl Grey tea.
