¡Hola Vaca!

Easily the most highly anticipated restaurant to open in Orange County, in 2015, is Vaca. The new Spanish-influenced culinary concept from Ahmed Labbate and chef Amar Santana, also from Broadway By Amar Santana in Laguna Beach, just opened Saturday in Costa Mesa.

Vaca offers traditional Spanish cuisine, but with chef Santana’s creative twist. "Our goal goes far beyond paella and bocadillos. We will bring Barcelona, Madrid, Andalucía, Sevilla and the Basque to Orange County - just as Broadway has reinterpreted food and drink in Laguna," said Santana who is also competing on Bravo's “Top Chef” now.

Vaca focuses on small and shared plates, with a varitey of steaks from grass fed Argentinean beef to true Japanese Kobe, cured Spanish meats and an assortment of house-made charcuterie.

Vaca features outdoor patios and interior spaces reminiscent of the romance of Spain and local tastes, cuisine trends and the artistry that has made Broadway a celebrated dining experience.

Open 5 to 10:30 p.m. daily.

Vaca is at 695 Town Center Drive, Suite 170 in Costa Mesa. 714.463.6060
