Wursthaus, Downtown Santa Ana’s award winning European-style sausage and beer hall is celebrating its first anniversary on Saturday, March 5 with a one night only deal on their signature brats. From 5 p.m. to 12 a.m., if you purchase any of their 24 handmade sausages, you will get a free smoked bratwurst to share with a friend. The OC Weekly named Wursthaus as "the best hot dog in OC."

Wursthaus specializes in handmade sausages ranging from classic, exotic to gourmet, and 20 draught German and Belgian beers served ice-cold.

At Wursthaus, you choose your sausage, such as smoked alligator, hickory smoked wild boar, chicken Florentine, smoked cheddar bratwust, a foot long Hungarian sausage, smoked polish, even vegan options; and then, choose your roll (freshly baked pretzel or grinder) and toppings such as sauerkraut, sauteed bell peppers, sauteed fresh jalapenos, IPA caramelized onions, and sauteed onions.

You have to also order Belgian fries made from fresh cut Kennebec potatoes and dipping sauces; or Drunked Fries topped with haus Andalouse sauce and IPA caramelized onions.

Open 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
