Chapman University’s New Musco Center for the Arts

Chapman University’s new world-class Musco Center for the Arts is a state-of-the-art theatre for arts, education and community. The 88,000-square-foot facility is giving students and faculty an opportunity to achieve the highest standard of arts-related education by offering hands-on experiences with renowned arts organizations.

Designed by award-winning architects Pfeiffer Partners, and acoustics by Yasuhisa Toyota of Nagata Acoustics, whose projects include Disney Hall and Stanford's Bing Concert Hall, among many others.

The Center’s stunning Julianne Argyros Orchestra Hall features 1,044 seats spanning three levels where the community can enjoy large-scale opera and theatre productions, touring dance companies, symphonies, chamber performances, jazz, world and popular music, and much more.

Los Angeles Times music critic, Mark Swed just gave it the ultimate review: “An ideal opera house; potentially the best in the West and maybe even something more,” Swed said.
