Burger Boss Opens at The Village at Tustin Legacy

Burger Boss, just opened its fifth location at The Village at Tustin Legacy. This marks the fourth Orange County location for the five-year-old company, which opened its first restaurant near UC Riverside in 2011. From the beginning Burger Boss’s goal has been to bring back the great American burger, which ceased to exist when large chains began mass producing them and chose quantity over quality. With its unique ordering process, Burger Boss puts the guest in charge by inviting them to “boss their burger” using an interactive, touch-screen kiosk where they visually build-their-burger on a flat screen monitor and place their order when finished.

It’s a five-step process where you can select:

  1. Protein – grass-fed beef, cage-free chicken or turkey, or black bean patty.
  2. Bun – white Kaiser, wheat grain or gluten-free.
  3. Cheese – from American and blue cheese crumble to sharp cheddar, gouda and more.
  4. Sauce – from traditional 1000 Island and Heinz Ketchup to chipotle mayo, honey Dijon, Sriracha and more.
  5. Toppings – turkey bacon, organic egg, grilled pineapple, avocado as well as more traditional offerings, such as tomatoes and grilled onions.

“From day one our focus has never wavered,” said owner Mo Farha, who opened his very first restaurant on the campus of the University of Michigan as a freshman. “Our burgers are made-to-order using only the highest quality ingredients, and guests can literally see what their burger will look like as they build it on the flat screen kiosk. We offer a premium burger with more than 30 topping options and some 15 sauces along with vegan and vegetarian selections.”

Farha added that you can also opt to have burgers lettuce-wrapped or served in a bowl.

Burger Boss, which has been named the Best Burger in the Inland Empire year after year, opened its doors at The Village at Tustin Legacy. The center is located at the corner of Kensington Park and Valencia Avenue in the city of Tustin. Delivery is available via Door Dash and Postmates.

The Village at Tustin Legacy is at 2178-2446 Edinger Ave. in Tustin. Burger Boss, which also has locations in Riverside, Mission Viejo, Lake Forest and Cypress, is open daily from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. and until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
