When it comes to creating engaging experiences for locals, two waterfront centers are doing it right—Lido Marina Village and Pacific City go out of their way to bring the community together in a modern and fun way. They’re offering experiences that go beyond the traditional retail center experience—their dynamic events are exciting and reflect the local community.

Just a few days ago, Lido Marina Village threw a Soiree By The Sea with Nobleman Magazine complete with a fashion show featuring the latest trends from top retailers at the center, merchants welcomed guests with Champagne toasts and sweet treats, and new fall collections were showcased. Eight hundred guests showed up to enjoy a Lido Speakasy featuring craft cocktails from Monkey Shoulder Whiskey, wine from Pomar Junction Winery, and Savory Tastes from Lido Bottle Works. There was a swank step and repeat photo opp, and chic Serena & Lily Lounge by the Boat Fountain, and special shopping opportunities were offered at unique pop-up shops. Guests enjoyed delicious sips and bites from Nobu, Lido Bottle Works, Juiced Served Here, and much more.

Just a few miles up the coast at the oceanfront shopping, dining and entertainment destination – Pacific City on PCH in Huntington Beach, the 2nd Annual Ping Pong Tournament and Challenge was celebrated on Saturday. The family-friendly event was packed with sports stars, pro player challenges, a Robo-Pong machine, open social play tables and free lessons from the pros. Guests also enjoyed brunch or savory grab and go options from Pacific City’s fabulous restaurants! Some of the nation’s top pros competed with tournament guests who challenged the pros for chances to win a professional Cornilleau ping pong table, paddles, fantastic prizes and gift cards from Pacific City. Proceeds from the tournament benefited the American Cancer Society.
