The County of Orange, OC Parks, and Dana Point Harbor invite families to spend Mother’s Day weekend at picturesque Dana Point Harbor. Enjoy ocean activities, dining specials, shopping, art sales and seaside scenery May 12 – 13.
“Families are welcome to celebrate the special women in their life at Dana Point Harbor during Mother’s Day weekend,” Supervisor Lisa Bartlett, 5th District, said. “From brunch to shopping to adventures at sea, the Harbor offers locals and visitors alike an opportunity to make memories that will last for years to come.”
Enjoy the ocean breeze during the Mother’s Day Fine Art Show & Sale May 12 - 13 from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. along the boardwalk between Harpoon Henry’s and Wind & Sea. Presented by the Dana Point Fine Arts Association, visitors can enjoy displays featuring watercolor, acrylic, pastel, photography and more.
Dana Wharf Sportfishing & Whale Watching offers excursions daily, and Dana Wharf cruises on May 13 will offer moms a complimentary “MOMosa” or glass of champagne. Dana Wharf also offers fishing trips on the high seas and on May 13 moms fish free and receive a complimentary equipment rental. Additional whale watching excursions are available from the Ocean Institute and Captain Dave’s Dolphin & Whale Watching Safari. Sailing, parasailing, and paddle boarding activities are also available in the harbor.
Indulge in delicious food at Dana Point Harbor this Mother’s Day weekend. The Harbor features several dining options including fine and casual dining, coffee shops, and niche eateries. On May 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Waterman’s Harbor Restaurant invites families to indulge in an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet while overlooking the Harbor. Visitors can also enjoy seaside eateries at Wind & Sea, Jon's Fish Market, El Torito, Proud Mary's, The Brig, Harbor Grill, Gemmell’s Restaurant, Harpoon Henry’s, Harbor Deli, Turks, Coffee Importers & Deli, Jerky & Cali Gifts, and more.
