The Tree Lighting Ceremony at Fashion Island

Fashion Island’s classic tree lighting ceremony will be celebrated two nights in a row: on Friday, Nov. 18 and Saturday, Nov. 19 from 6 to 6:30 p.m. in the Neiman Marcus – Bloomingdale’s Courtyard.
Mark Wallengren of KOST 103.5 FM will emcee the ceremony, along with a 25-minute live musical performance of "The Magic of Christmas" starring The Young Americans. The show will include Santa and Mrs. Claus bringing the tree to life and snowfall!
Starting at 7 a.m., blankets and low chairs will be permitted on the lawn areas on either side of the stage only. Once those areas are full, there will only be standing room available. Spots can be saved by placing blankets on a first-come, first-served basis during the day of the event. There will be a reserved seating section in compliance with ADA requirements.
Fashion Island is at 401 Newport Center Drive in Newport Beach.
