Mai Tai’s From Classic to Frozen

Beat the heat with a refreshing frozen drink at Tommy Bahama Island Grill at Corona del Mar Plaza The classic Tommy Bahama Mai Tai is now available as a frozen, slushy cocktail served from a newly installed frozen drink dispenser, the Mai Tai combines premium spirits and fruit juices.
Just like the signature Mai Tai, the frozen version features, Flor de Caña rum - aged four years for quality flavor, pineapple juice, lime juice, orange Curaçao and orgeat syrup. This is given the Tommy Bahama twist as it’s topped with a dark rum float and garnished with a tropical orchid.

National Oyster Week at Santa Monica Seafood for Bracken’s Kitchen

Ever wanted to master oyster shucking? You can stop by Santa Monica Seafood in Costa Mesa or in Santa Monica on Saturday, Aug. 11 from noon to 2 p.m. for a fun Oyster Shucking Demo at both stores. And, Santa Monica Seafood is honoring National Oyster Day all week and donating a portion of proceeds from oyster sales to Bracken’s Kitchen, a nonprofit dedicated to feeding the impoverished in Southern California and recovering foods to lessen the environmental impact of food waste.
