SusieCakes in Newport Beach is celebrating it's fifth birthday Saturday in style!
From 12 to 3 p.m., the All-American bakery is having a retro beach birthday celebration featuring DJs spinning classic beach tunes, kid activities and - the best part - complimentary SusieCakes treats!
AND if you are among the first 50 customers at the store, you will receive a free box of mini red velvet cupcakes with purchase. Coloring contests, temporary tattoos, balloon art and other games and prizes will fill the celebration.
All four SusieCakes locations are throwing a party and 5% of all proceeds for the day will go to a local charity near to each location.
If you already have weekend plans, SusieCakes is asking their fans to submit their favorite five ingredient dessert recipe on their Facebook page by the end of the month. Susie herself will select a winning recipe to feature at one of the stores for the following month!

Kids Eat Free!

The little ones you are feeding everyday won’t cost you a thing on Tuesdays and Saturdays at Marie Callender’s. The classic American restaurant chain is offering a kids eat free deal with the purchase of every adult entrée on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Kids (12 and younger) can order from Marie’s kid’s menu, which includes options like grilled cheese, slider burger and fries, and soup & salad bar. Each meal is served with a slice of pie (excludes cheesecakes, seasonal fresh fruit pies and promotional pies). The entire kids’ menu is here.
Marie Callender’s has multiple Orange County locations including Anaheim, Irvine, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, San Juan Capistrano, Garden Grove, Orange, Placentia, and Westminster.
