Sip LBC, Long Beach Wine, Beer & Spirits Week is a weeklong event in celebration of dining and cocktails now through Saturday, Sept. 27.
It’s the best time to explore the city’s dining and cocktail scene. Many participating restaurants and bars will offer a special “562” cocktail for $5.62, food and drink pairings for $18.88 – an homage to the year Long Beach was founded, as well as all-night happy hour, cocktail demonstrations, martini flights, beer and wine flights, and yappy hour for guests and their pets.

Seaside Gallery & Goods, a new high-end co-op of painters, craftspeople and designers, is celebrating an open house today and grand opening celebration from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
It’s like a weekend crafts market where shoppers will find unique, hand-made jewelry, clothing, accessories and decor that they couldn't find at the large-scale malls. Seaside Gallery & Goods is the next evolution of the popular summer McFadden Wharf Market and Lido Village Artisan Market.
Tucked away within Pelican Courtyard, Seaside Gallery & Goods is a relaxing boutique where shoppers can meet the artists and designers who make the products they can wear, gift or place in their home or garden.
Vendors presently available include Nueva Vida, Sea Debris Designs, Top Drawer Designs, Some Like it Haute, Deborah Harold Fine Art, South of France, Janet Bludau Fine Art, Ilona Martin Fine Art, Table2Garden, Shelly Damore Designs, Kim Hapke Fine Art, Vicki Lynn Interiors and Leslie Alsenz.
Shoppers and designers will find paintings, sculpture, clothing, succulents, crafts, body and bath care and jewelry.
