Food Trucks Fundraiser for Students

You need to eat dinner tonight night, right? Come out and enjoy some of the best in food truck specialties while supporting the Newport Harbor High School California Scholarship Federation (CSF) club on Thursday, March 19 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. The Newport Harbor High parking lot at 15^th Street will be filled with food trucks.

A portion of the profits will go towards raising money for college scholarships for its students.

Featured trucks are:
Dos Chinos Truck: Latin Asian food
Me So Hungry Truck: gourmet sliders and grub
Sexy Burger: gourmet burgers and fries
Tri-tip man BBQ: Southern Bbq
Hula Dog: Hawaiian Style Hot Dogs
We Heart Froyo: Mobile frozen yogurt
Chunk n Chip: Cookie and ice cream sandwiches

Watertable’s Best of Italy Wine Dinner

Take a culinary trip to Italy at Watertable’s upcoming Best of Italy Wine Dinner on Friday, March 27 at 6 p.m. Watertable is the signature restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach and they are planning the special prix fixe five-course wine dinner that starts with a glass of Aquilis Sauvignon, Tenuta Ca’Bolani-Fruili paired with a Fruili Forest Mushroom Risotto.

The next course starts with a 2011 Red Blend, Rocca Di Montemassi, Maremma Tuscany and is paired with Tuscan Heirloom Tomato Panzanella.

The third course is a 2010 Barolo, Poggio le Coste paired with Piedmont Spring Pea Gnocchi Piedmont Spring Pea Gnocchi; and the fourth course is a 2012 Nero D’Avola, Sicily paired with Sicily Pan Roasted Lamb Loin. For dessert, finish with a 2007 Vin Santo, Tuscany, paired with Pistachio Cannoli and chocolate ganache, affogado ice cream

Cost is $110 per person (plus tax and gratuity).
