It’s a Canine Valentine

You’re invited to a Canine Valentine on Saturday Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. by the Powers Team of Villa Real Estate in Corona del Mar. You can learn how to adopt or foster a rescue dog. Dogs and volunteers from SoCal Bulldog Rescue, Basset Hound Rescue of Orange County, and Barks of Love will be there.
The Powers Team will be giving away a custom portrait of you and your pet by Dogma Pet Portraits.
Powers Team of Villa Real Estate is at 2700 East Coast Highway, Suite 100, in Corona del Mar.

“Love Grows by Giving” Wine Tasting

On Friday, Feb. 10 from 6 to 9:30 p.m., Community Service Programs (CSP) will host its seventh annual “Love Grows by Giving" Wine Tasting fundraiser to benefit CSP’s Huntington Beach Youth Shelter, a safe haven for homeless, runaway, abused and at-risk youth at Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa.
The event will feature an evening of special wines, including from Main Street Wine Company, Brix Sunset Beach and Rodney Strong and Kendall-Jackson, wine education, food pairings from local fine dining restaurants such as Hyatt Watertable, Duke’s, Red Table, Buon Gusto, and beer samplings, live music and more.
Live and silent auctions will include prizes such as a two-night stay in a Presidential Suite at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa with dinner for two and a VIP welcome amenity (a $4,750 value).
Tickets cost $75 each and are available here.
