Come out and support local music tonight at Continental Room in Fullerton and receive giveaways from KROQ, Guitar Center, OC Weekly, Audiofly, Ernie Ball, popchips and more.
The 2014 OC Music Awards Best Live Band Showcase Series will start with the HIggs (8 p.m.), Lowly Spects (8:45 p.m.), Asleep at the Gate (9:30 p.m.), Well Hung Heart (10:15 p.m.) and Big Monsta (11 p.m.) performing live. All Showcases are free to attend.
The Showcase Series will culminate at the 2014 OC Music Awards on March 8 at the City National Grove of Anaheim when the music industry comes together to honor the achievements of local artists in 26 categories.
Showcase Series judges will score each band’s performance on musicianship, originality, song composition, stage presence and show attendance. Five finalists in the Best Live Band category will move on to the Showcase Series Finals which will be a free, all ages show at the Observatory in Santa Ana on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
The Continental Room is at 115 W. Santa Fe Ave. in Fullerton.

Four deeply devoted beer enthusiasts, brewmaster Kyle Manns, and co-founders, Brandon Buckner, Wes Parker and Steve Napolitano just opened Bottle Logic in Anaheim, a fine tasting room for craft beers. At Bottle Logic, their mission is simple: brew the highest quality craft beer available, without compromise. Their state-of-the-art tasting room was designed to enhance your knowledge and appreciation of their high quality beer, such as a pale wheat ale, She Shot First; a milk stout called Mother Heifer; a double India pale ale called Double Actuator and many more.
Each week new beers will be available so you can order a fresh pint and try its experimental beers. You can also enjoy some of the best food trucks in Orange County who will be parking nearby.
Tasting Room is Open 4 to 8 p.m. Monday; noon to 11 p.m. Friday; Saturday noon to 11 p.m.; noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
