Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club brings the SoCal magic of the winter and holiday season to guests, lighting up the lawn with a festive Christmas tree and offering enchanting activities for all! The AAA Five-Diamond resort will host seasonally-inspired Christmas dinners at their dining venues:
- AVEO Table + Bar (Dec. 24 | 5-9 p.m. & Dec. 25 | 11:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.): Holiday menu highlights include burrata & kabocha squash, pistachio-crusted Colorado lamb rack, and caramelized banana chocolate Yule log (served a la carte).
- Bourbon Steak Orange County (Dec. 25 | 4-9 p.m.): Exquisite holiday menu highlights include Tai snapper Crudo, winter spiced beets, braised pork belly, and eye of the ribeye prime rib (priced at $195/person).
- Monarch Bay Beach Club: Enjoy an oceanfront Christmas dinner including roasted chestnut soup, brown butter, and sage gnocchi, and a cherry ornament for a sweet, finishing touch (served a la carte).
Plus, a Private Christmas Dinner Celebration will serve a four-course holiday meal with friends and family (priced at $155/person or $195 with a seafood add-on). Guests and locals can fill their homes with whiffs of the holiday spirit thanks to the pastry team’s custom-order Holiday Desserts like a Red Velvet Yule log with cream cheese mousse or a brownie praline chocolate Yule log, available for pick-up at Part + Parcel. For some coastal cruising around the Dana Point Harbor, hop on a Holiday E-Bike Tour and see festive light displays, then ride back to the Beach Club for an exclusive Veuve Clicquot Tasting Experience. Indulge in seasonal relaxation at Waldorf Astoria Spa with the Pumpkin Enzyme Facial using pumpkin enzymes that clarifies a clear and radiant complexion (priced at $250, 60 minutes), or the Rosemary Peppermint Pedicure, using icy peppermint and menthol to awaken the senses and revive the feet from all of the holiday shopping! (Priced at $105, 60 minutes).

Driftwood Kitchen & The Deck on Laguna’s “Shake & Stir” Fundraiser

The Deck on Laguna Beach and Driftwood Kitchen will host their inaugural Shake & Stir fundraising event on Sunday, December 12 from noon to 5 p.m. to benefit Highgate Charitable Foundation.
The event is a combined effort with The Bungalows at Pacific Edge Hotel, The Pacific Edge Hotel, Mosaic Hotel, Maison Hotel, The Westin Long Beach, and Hotel Figueroa.
Guests will have the unique opportunity to experience a variety of champagne, sparkling wines, craft cocktails, and coastal cuisine, all while enjoying panoramic ocean views from the oceanfront restaurants.
Executive Chef Rainer Schwarz and his team will prepare delicious tastes from The Deck, Driftwood Kitchen, and Hendrix Restaurant & Bar. The event will include beverages from Ketel One, Grey Goose, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Nolet’s Gin, Casamigos Tequila, Captain Morgan, RumHaven, Bacardi, Stoli Vodka, Ballast Point Brewery, Laguna Beach Beer Company, Champs de Provence Rose, Veuve Clicquot, Salt Rose, Cloudy Bay, Milagro Tequila, Hendrick’s Gin, Kendall Jackson, San Benedetto Water, Coca-Cola, and Lavazza Coffee, among others.
General admission tickets for the 21-and-over event are available for purchase for $125 pre-sale (1 p.m. entry) or $175 for VIP (early entry at noon). Admission includes oysters and other small bites, as well as access to champagne, wine, cocktail, and beer sampling. Event attendees looking to enjoy the evening's celebrations may take advantage of the Pacific Edge Hotel's Shake, Stir & Stay packages.
