Westin South Coast Plaza Refresh
07.22.15
By Andrea Hammer
On the cusp of its 40th anniversary in August, the Westin South Coast Plaza recently completed an all-inclusive renovation of its 394 guestrooms, which includes its 17
suites. The rooms received much more than a facelift: all guestrooms were completely gutted to allow for extensive upgrades and functionality for travelers to have as comfortable a stay as possible.
Upgrades include a calming color palette of soothing blues and grays, new Westin Heavenly Beds and walk-in showers, smooth-surfaced ceilings and crown molding for added design appeal.
Guests will also enjoy a wide range of amenities, like 42-inch flat-screen televisions, overhead lighting above beds, additional room outlets, high speed internet, and coffee makers in every room featuring Starbucks coffee. To further accommodate guests and ease travel stresses, The Westin South Coast Plaza also offers running maps, workout gear lent by New Balance, and a room service menu that includes sleep-friendly meals and health-friendly superfoods to ensure that every guest is well rested and well nourished. Dining options also include The Westin’s lobby bar
and restaurant.
The 35,000 square foot hotel provides indoor and outdoor meeting space that can accommodate up to 600 guests, which includes the Waterfall Terrace, providing the perfect backdrop for wedding ceremonies and receptions. For corporate gatherings, the hotel launched Tangent in 2014, a revolutionary workspace fusing smart technology and innovative design, facilitating productivity for business partners near and far.
The Westin is joined by bridge to South Coast Plaza, one of the premier shopping destinations in the country with over 280 luxury retailers.
The Westin South Coast Plaza is located at 686 Anton Boulevard in Costa Mesa.
