Irvine Spectrum Center’s Endless Summer Festival

Here’s a reason to get excited about going back to school! The Endless Summer Festival at Irvine Spectrum Center starts today through Saturday, Aug. 20. It’s a fun way to kick off the back-to-school shopping season.
Shoppers can enjoy fun activities across the center all three days from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Highlights include: A live performance from rising popstar Alessia Cara at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19 at the Giant Wheel Court. Cara will perform hits such as “Here” and “Wild Things” from her debut album, “Know-It All.” Cara is on tour with Coldplay.
There’s an Active Ride Shop Skate Village at Edwards Court, featuring multiple skate ramps for open skating sessions, as well as demos and lessons from pro skaters. Stop by for an Open-air Yearbook Photo Booth at Carousel Court. There’s a Nordstrom Beauty Lounge Airstream at Giant Wheel Court that will feature complimentary hair styling by T3, as well beauty makeovers by MAC and Dior.
And enjoy in-store parties each day from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at select retailers such as Anthropologie, Cotton On, Active Ride Shop, Hurley I NIKE SB, Quiksilver, Irene’s Story, Old Navy, Windsor and Tillys.

Costa Makers at Molly Wood Garden Design

Come celebrate small business owners and support local Costa "Makers" on Friday, August 19 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Molly Wood Garden Design in Costa Mesa. You can create your own Studio Suzan bracelet, build your own plant arrangement at the Molly Wood arrangement bar, enjoy light bites and Champagne! Jewelry designer Suzan Zahedi and landscape guru Molly Wood, will be on hand to answer questions and help you create the perfect take home gift - or something special for you!
There will also be tastings and favors from handcrafted B. Toffee by Betsy Thagard. Molly Wood Garden Design is also offering 20% off all inventory to celebrate their 8 year anniversary.
The event is free to attend, but there will be an extra cost for materials. RSVP here.
